Second cross-border joint project with the Dutch "Stichting Septembermanifestatie" (Hardenberg) under the direction of Gert Gerrits.
The foundation has been organising art routes in the Vechte valley every two years since 1992.
On the German side, the organization has received a further impulse since 2000 through the cooperation with the Kunstverein Grafschaft Bentheim.
For the 2002 project, the Kunstverein proposed the artists Hede Bühl, Stefan Eberstadt, Kaneyuki Shimoosako, Peer Veneman and Claudia Wissmann.
In the Kunstverein we showed the Dutch artist Marieke de Jong.
The cross-border art route "Ontmoetingen 2002" stretched over eight stations between Nordhorn (D) and Dalfsen (NL), four of which are in Germany and four in the Netherlands. The works of art shown there relate in four cases to the interiors of art and cultural institutes (Safe in Dalfsen, Kunsthuis in Hardenberg, Kunstverein in Neuenhaus, Kloster Frenswegen in Nordhorn) and in four cases to outdoor areas open to the public (three farms and a park).
