Sweet Home

Ha Cha Youn (*1960 in Masan, Korea) deals with problems and phenomena of globalization such as cultural identity, increasing homelessness, tensions between the haves and have-nots. She translates her research very forcefully into films, pictures and installations. Current world events give the exhibition a further dimension.

Ha Cha Youn left Korea in 1983 and studied in France until 1988 as well as in Germany (Braunschweig with Christiane Möbus and others) from 1988 to 2002. Since then she has lived and worked in France (Paris).

A catalogue (German/English) with a text by Raimar Stange has been published.
