Carina Schüring's works move between concrete and abstract, between illusory body details and pure colour composition on canvas. In alternating organic-dynamic diversity and simplified constructions, an enigmatic depth is created in her paintings.  ...Opposites and interactions have always fascinated Carina Schüring. Shadows become deeper when there is more light. Thus an expressively searching visual language and a concentrated working intention can reinforce each other.
