Peter Schlör

Peter Schlör (D, *1964) is a black and white photographer in the midst of digital colourfulness. He builds visual harmonies according to classical compositional characteristics. With him we present a position dedicated to making visible the phenomenon of simultaneity in non-simultaneity. The arrangement of his photographs in the form of series shows Schlör as an attentive chronicler of the transformation of soul states and as one who has mastered the game of photographing the worlds between light and shadow. 
With Peter Schlör we continue our program line "Photographic Positions" (see: Scheidler, Kasimir, Klemm, Timtschenko, Eijkelboom/Spaans, Robert Adams / Nieweg / Berges / Fuchs, Peters, Wrede and Bosch / Winters).

In cooperation with: Cultural Foundation Schloß Agathenburg, Municipal Gallery Iserlohn, Kunsthalle Erfurt, Art Gallery Fürth and Mannheimer Kunstverein.

The participating institutions publish the catalogue book "Peter Schlör, Deep Black".
